The Rock: It rocks!

In other countries it is spring time. but in the Philippines, it's summer baby!

My sister together with our cousins, her son and our grandma went to THE ROCK!

The Rock is located at Brgy. San Isidro, General Santos City Philippines

the place has very nice landscapes.

Please forgive my excess fats. hahaha. let us just concentrate on the

landscape. :D

I am pretty sure that a lot of gurls wouldn't really stick to only one hair style. :)

i have naturally thick straight hair and i love curling it with a flat iron and setting it with curlers.

I wear anything. :) anything that makes me feel comfortable.

Because if im comfortable i know i can pull it off! :)

I love wearing stripes, big stripes in particular. It makes you look sexier. :O

Kitchen Beauty Series No.1 : HONEY-MANSI FACE MASK

HONEY-MANSI FACE MASK

Why honey?
        It is the BEST moisturizer! :) It does not only attract water but it also helps your skin retain it's moisture. :)

Why Calamansi (Kalamansi / Calamodin)?
      It is nature's bleach. :) Calamansi helps in evening out you skin and keeping it glowing and healthy looking plus it has Vit C that helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles.


What you need:

2 table spoon of honey
1 calamsi (medium size)
2 pinches of brown sugar (optional)

Steps:

Put the ingredients in a mixing plate/ bowl
You must reach a paste-like consistency
After washing your face and making sure that it is clean, apply this all over your face and avoid the eye area.
the sugar will act like a scrub so if you don't like it just don't add it to your mask.
leave it for 10-15 minutes and rinse only with water.
Your skin should feel soft and fresh.
Wait 'til you wake up the next day and you will surely love your glow. :)


You can also use this mask for your neck, arms and legs. :) I have been using this every other night for 2 years now and my skin really had changed significantly.

*If you don't have calamansi in your place you can use lemon instead. :)

DIY NO HEAT WAVES USING MAGAZINE PAPER

THIS IS IT!

You will be needing an old magazine. (or even a new one if you like :P)

Tear down those pages and roll them like this.

Lock the rolls using a scotch tape.

You should make more if you have thicker hair.

I had to dampen my hair a bit- only a bit. Not too much cos u might end up

tearing the magazine. 

Get a section of hair and from the ends, roll your hair with the magazine rolls.

Lock the sides using a bobby pin.

I used 8 rolls of magazines for my hair.

I let my hair set fro 2 hours and this is how it looked like!

I am so happy with this.

i suggest that you have to try letting it set for 4 hrs if you have naturally straight hair like mine just to make sure the curls would last the whole day.

But if your lazy to wait, just use a hair dryer at the lowest level of heat. :)

i don't recommend sleeping with these on your hair, i tried it and i wasn't able to sleep in comfort

so i had to remove it. And try it again.  :D

i just had to post this. :P
